I'm Not Afraid of Anything!
Pretty Little Princess' gym teacher pulled me the other to tell me about my daughter. I always cringe a bit wondering what my Pretty Little Princess has gotten into or what she may have said. You know how Kindergartners can be...they'll say anything sometimes! But her teacher reassured me that all was well and this was a GOOD story!
Phew!
Apparently, Pretty Little Princess' girl classmates spotted a spider on the gym floor and were screaming. Our Pretty Little Princess surveyed the situation and proudly lifted her foot and smashed that little spider to smithereens!
Then, she proclaimed,
"I'M NOT AFRAID OF ANYTHING!"
Whether it's a spider or an unknown, may it be true of me...
"I'm not afraid of anything" either!
"The LORD is my light and my salvation— whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life— of whom shall I be afraid?"

USS GUNSTON HALL Heads to Haiti
Once upon a time, I babysat this adorable young lady...the bride in this picture. She grew up into a BRILLIANT, ATHLETIC FOX! Where did the time go?
She's now an ol' married lady! She and her honey were married on July 4, 2009. He was deployed in October to Iraq and today she was deployed to Haiti. Originally, she was headed to Africa, but because of the earthquake, their ship - the USS GUNSTON HALL - was rerouted for the time being.

Her precious mom - who is like another sister to me -I love her dearly...sent me this link. Of course, it brought me to tears. Seeing that ship sail away...ooooh, don't get me started.
That dear mother of this recently deployed daughter can be seen briefly in this video...my heart aches for her. Pray for them! Pray for our military families!
